The Extra Mile Tours is an independent family owned business. We strive to provide an excellent, efficient and personal service to all customers. As our name indicates, we DO go the extra mile. We want you to enjoy our beautiful country and city and make your stay a memorable one. We concentrate on small groups and, therefore, are able to provide our guests with top quality tours. We visit only the best wine estates and, on some tours, go off the beaten track. We believe in allowing our guests time over a meal and a bottle of wine and never make them feel rushed. To quote Sir Francis Drake, the celebrated English navigator, who wrote: "This Cape is the most stately, and the fairest cape in the whole circumference of the earth..." It was on the shore of Table bay where South Africa's recorded history began on Christmas Eve in 1652, when, Commander Jan van Riebeeck, his French wife, young son and a small party arrived. So, why not join us on a variety of journeys through this wonderful land, South Africa, and enjoy its beauty, diversity and majesty. All pricing is quoted in ZAR and includes pick-up and drop off from your accommodation. Full day tours depart at 9.30 and return 17.30. terms and conditions On all tours an initial deposit of 25% is required on booking and the balance is payable on commencement of the tour. If a passenger fails to join a tour, or joins it after departure or leaves it prior to completion , no refund or rebate will be made. The Extra Mile Tours shall not be liable for any damage, loss, delay, inconvenience or irregularity, which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or article or through the acts or omissions of any supplier, whether negligent or otherwise, nor of any servant of such supplier. The Extra Mile Tours accepts no liability in terms of death, injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising out of any act, omission or negligence of The Extra Mile Tours, the supplier, The Extra Mile Tours’ or supplier’s servants or agents. The Extra Mile Tours shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of any tour however caused. If sickness or accident interrupts a tour The Extra Mile Tours shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising therefrom. The Extra Mile Tours shall not be liable for any refund, either partial or total, of passage money paid. The Extra Mile Tours recommends the passengers be advised to purchase appropriate insurance to protect the passengers against such eventuality. The Extra Mile Tours reserves the right to alter routes and itineraries for any reason, but will endeavour to inform clients of such changes prior to departure.
