DAY 1
Collect from Cape Town International and transfer to Commodore Hotel at V & A Waterfront - BB

Weather permitting we will go up Table Mountain in the cable car

Visit to the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

DAY 2
A full day tour of the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek wine estates. We will visit at least 4 estates with a variety eg. Schnapps, Sparkling wine etc. or a full on, wine only, tasting for the connoisseurs.

DAY 3
After breakfast we travel over the Franschhoek pass en route to Hermanus. It is here, in this coastal town with its rich history, one can holiday all year round. One of the first regular visitors to Hermanus was Sir William Hoy, who ensured that the natural beauty of Hermanus would stay unspoilt by blocking any attempt to extend the Bot River railway line to the village. Hermanus is a year round delight: sun and beaches in summer and from June to November whales frolicking in the bay just metres from the shore. Wonderful golf course, walks, shopping etc. on offer in this beautiful town.

Dinner at a restaurant at the harbour and overnight at Lavender Manor - BB
DAY 4
We follow the N2 and at Swellendam we will visit a berry farm, taste liqueur and have lunch. This old, historical town lies in the shadows of the clock peaks of the Langeberg Range. Swellendam, together with Tulbach, is the third oldest town. Cape Town being the first and Stellenbosch the second.
After being refreshed, we once again, follow the N2 to Mossel Bay, past Mossgas.

DAY 5
The road takes us, on this day, over the Robinson Pass and to the Cango Caves. Lunch at the caves.

Visit the Safari Ostrich farm for an agricultural tour and, if you wish, ride an ostrich.
After this very eventful day we carry on to Wilderness, the lakes and Knysna where we will overnight and have dinner at The Lofts Boutique Hotel - BB
DAY 6
A short drive to Plettenberg Bay and then we head for Port Elizabeth via Humansdorp – the town that was laid out in the form of the Union Jack with a fountain in the middle, through Tsitisikama forest, Storms River and through the valley of the Gamtoos river Camp Figtree (Addo) - FB
DAYS 7, 8

DAY 9
Unfortunately we have to start heading back to Cape Town. We will spend one more night on the Garden Route at Swallows Nest - BB in Plettenberg Bay.
DAY 10
After an early breakfast we return to Cape Town via Robertson, Worcester, Ashton, Montague and the 14km long Huguenot tunnel.
