We hope you have had a wonderful end of 2008 and that this New year will bring only good and happy events into your lives.

We, at The Extra Mile Tours, have had a fairly busy and enjoyable season so far.  We made quite a lot of trips to the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek winelands.  The weather has been absolutely fantastic and our guests have enjoyed the sunny, warm days – specially those from the UK.  The good weather has definitely affected them, cause they have been buying lots of wine to ship back home.

The 31st December 2008 was spent along the Garden Route.  We managed to take our guests to a New Year party and everyone had to, either dress up or wear a funny hat.  They thoroughly enjoyed themselves – as you can see from the photographs - and danced until 2am.

On other trips our guests took their swimming costumes along and spent some time frolicking in the ocean.

The world wide economic situation has definitely affected the tourism trade in South Africa, but those who have managed to still come to our beautiful country have gone home with wonderful memories and great experiences.

A few of our guests have gone shark cage diving at Gansbaai on the south coast.  They came back absolutely thrilled!!!  This is one of the activities that’s on offer in Cape Town that proves to be very popular.  Not for the faint hearted!!.
